Cover Brief:
The PlenioCoverBrief node is designed to facilitate the creation of music covers by defining the intent and style of the cover. It allows you to specify the work mode, whether you want to create a single cover with review stops or generate a new version with each run. The node also lets you determine the target style, manage the treatment of vocals—whether to use original lyrics, new lyrics, or create an instrumental version—and decide on the harmony. While the melody, form, and tempo are derived from the source material, the final lyrics are chosen in the Song Sheet, not within this node. This node is particularly beneficial for artists looking to experiment with different cover styles and arrangements, providing a structured approach to music production.
Cover Brief Input Parameters:
mode
The mode parameter determines the workflow for creating the cover. It can be set to either create one cover with stops for review or generate a new version with each run. This choice impacts how the cover is developed and reviewed, allowing for iterative refinement or continuous variation.
template
The template parameter allows you to select a predefined template for the cover. This can influence the arrangement and style, providing a starting point or framework for the cover's production.
description
The description parameter provides a textual overview of the cover's intent and style. It helps in setting the creative direction and ensuring that all elements align with the desired outcome.
genre
The genre parameter specifies the musical genre of the cover. This influences the stylistic elements and can guide the arrangement and instrumentation choices.
mood
The mood parameter defines the emotional tone of the cover. It affects the overall feel and can influence decisions on tempo, harmony, and dynamics.
vocals
The vocals parameter determines how vocals are handled in the cover. Options include using original lyrics, creating new lyrics, or opting for an instrumental version. This choice significantly impacts the cover's vocal arrangement and lyrical content.
harmony
The harmony parameter specifies how the harmony is treated in the cover. It can influence chord progressions and harmonic structure, contributing to the cover's overall sound.
title
The title parameter allows you to set the title of the cover. This is important for identification and can also influence the thematic elements of the cover.
Cover Brief Output Parameters:
brief
The brief output provides a structured summary of the cover's intent and style. It encapsulates all the input parameters and decisions made during the cover's setup, serving as a reference for the production process.
brief_text
The brief_text output offers a readable text version of the cover brief. This is useful for documentation and communication, allowing you to easily share the cover's details with collaborators.
use_source_lyrics
The use_source_lyrics output is a boolean indicating whether the cover uses the original lyrics from the source material. This helps in understanding the lyrical approach taken in the cover.
instrumental
The instrumental output is a boolean that specifies if the cover is instrumental. This is crucial for identifying covers that do not include vocals.
song_seed
The song_seed output provides a numerical seed used for generating variations of the cover. This is important for reproducibility and exploring different creative possibilities.
