Staging:
The SceneNode is a versatile component designed to facilitate the creation and manipulation of 3D scenes within the ComfyUI environment. It serves as a bridge between staging and acting nodes, allowing you to seamlessly integrate and manage complex 3D actor interactions. This node is particularly beneficial for AI artists looking to create dynamic and interactive scenes, as it supports multi-actor chaining and provides a platform for hosting interactive actor acting. By leveraging the SceneNode, you can efficiently manage the spatial and behavioral aspects of 3D actors, enhancing the realism and depth of your digital creations.
Staging Input Parameters:
stage
This parameter allows you to connect a Staging node or a previous Acting node, enabling multi-actor chaining. It is optional and provides the foundational stage or acting data necessary for the SceneNode to function effectively.
actor_type
This parameter lets you select the type of actor you wish to use in your scene. Options include "human," "car," and "quadruped," with "human" as the default. The choice of actor type influences the behavior and appearance of the actor within the scene, allowing for diverse and tailored interactions.
actor_speed
This parameter controls the movement speed of the 3D actor, with a default value of 10.0. It accepts values ranging from 1.0 to 30.0, allowing you to adjust the pace of the actor's movements to suit the needs of your scene, whether it requires slow, deliberate actions or fast-paced dynamics.
actor_scale
This parameter determines the scale factor for the 3D actor, with a default value of 1.0. It supports values between 0.3 and 2.0, enabling you to resize the actor to fit the scene's context, whether you need a larger-than-life presence or a more subtle, scaled-down figure.
actor_color
This optional parameter allows you to specify the color of the 3D actor's mesh, with a default color of "#F1DFBF." By customizing the actor's color, you can enhance the visual appeal and thematic consistency of your scene.
Staging Output Parameters:
acting_data
The acting_data output provides a structured representation of the actor's motion and behavior within the scene. It includes trajectory and motion data, which are essential for understanding and further manipulating the actor's interactions. This output is crucial for capturing and analyzing the dynamic aspects of your 3D scene.
Staging Usage Tips:
- To create complex scenes with multiple actors, connect multiple Acting nodes in sequence, utilizing the stage input to chain them effectively.
- Adjust the actor_speed and actor_scale parameters to match the narrative and visual style of your scene, ensuring that the actor's movements and size are contextually appropriate.
Staging Common Errors and Solutions:
Directing: Directing canvas is disabled. Connect an Acting node and record motion first.
- Explanation: This error occurs when there is no motion data available for the SceneNode to process, indicating that the necessary acting data has not been recorded or connected.
- Solution: Ensure that you have connected an Acting node with recorded motion data to the SceneNode. Verify that the acting_data contains valid trajectory or motion information before proceeding.
