🎛️ CSS Filters Description

Apply various CSS filters to images for visual effects, enhancing aesthetics and artistic manipulation.

🎛️ CSS Filters:

The CSSFiltersNode is a versatile tool designed to apply a range of visual effects to images, mimicking the capabilities of CSS filters used in web design. This node allows you to enhance your images by adjusting various attributes such as blur, brightness, contrast, grayscale, sepia, hue rotation, saturation, and inversion. By providing a comprehensive suite of filters, the CSSFiltersNode enables you to creatively manipulate images, enhancing their aesthetic appeal or achieving specific artistic effects. Whether you're looking to subtly adjust an image's tone or completely transform its appearance, this node offers the flexibility and control needed to achieve your desired outcome.

🎛️ CSS Filters Input Parameters:

image

This parameter represents the input image that you want to apply the filters to. It is a required parameter and serves as the base upon which all other filter effects will be applied.

blur

The blur parameter controls the amount of Gaussian blur applied to the image. It softens the image by reducing detail and noise, with a default value of 0.0, a minimum of 0.0, and a maximum of 20.0. Adjusting this value can create a dreamy or out-of-focus effect.

brightness

This parameter adjusts the brightness of the image. A value of 100.0 represents the original brightness, with a range from 0.0 to 300.0. Increasing the brightness can make the image appear lighter, while decreasing it can darken the image.

contrast

The contrast parameter modifies the difference between the light and dark areas of the image. With a default value of 100.0, it ranges from 0.0 to 300.0. Higher contrast values make the image more vivid, while lower values create a flatter appearance.

grayscale

This parameter converts the image to grayscale, removing color information. It ranges from 0.0 to 100.0, with 0.0 maintaining the original colors and 100.0 converting the image entirely to grayscale.

sepia

The sepia parameter applies a warm, brownish tone to the image, reminiscent of old photographs. It ranges from 0.0 to 100.0, with higher values intensifying the sepia effect.

hue_rotate

This parameter rotates the hues of the image's colors, effectively changing the color scheme. It ranges from -180.0 to 180.0, allowing for a full spectrum of color shifts.

saturate

The saturate parameter adjusts the intensity of the image's colors. With a default of 100.0, it ranges from 0.0 to 300.0. Higher values make colors more vibrant, while lower values desaturate the image.

invert

This parameter inverts the colors of the image, creating a negative effect. It ranges from 0.0 to 100.0, with higher values increasing the degree of inversion.

🎛️ CSS Filters Output Parameters:

IMAGE

The output is an image that has been processed with the specified CSS filters. This transformed image reflects the cumulative effects of all applied filters, providing a new visual representation based on the input parameters.

🎛️ CSS Filters Usage Tips:

  • Experiment with different combinations of filters to achieve unique artistic effects. For instance, combining sepia with a slight blur can create a vintage look.
  • Use the hue_rotate parameter to explore different color schemes and moods for your image.
  • Adjust the contrast and brightness together to enhance the image's dynamic range and make it more visually striking.

🎛️ CSS Filters Common Errors and Solutions:

Image not found

  • Explanation: This error occurs when the input image is not correctly provided or is missing.
  • Solution: Ensure that the image parameter is correctly set with a valid image file.

Invalid parameter value

  • Explanation: This error arises when a parameter value is set outside its allowed range.
  • Solution: Double-check the parameter values to ensure they fall within the specified minimum and maximum limits.

Output image is distorted

  • Explanation: This can happen if extreme values are used for multiple parameters simultaneously.
  • Solution: Gradually adjust parameter values and preview the results to maintain a balanced and aesthetically pleasing output.
