Color Corrector Description

Enhance image colors with selective adjustments, white balance, and three-way correction for AI artists.

Color Corrector:

EasyColorCorrection is a powerful node designed to enhance and adjust the color properties of images, making it an essential tool for AI artists looking to refine their digital artwork. This node provides a comprehensive suite of color correction capabilities, including selective color adjustments, intelligent white balance, and three-way color correction (Lift/Gamma/Gain). It allows you to fine-tune the hue, saturation, and lightness of specific color ranges, apply noise for artistic effects, and even add sepia tones for a vintage look. The node is versatile, supporting various modes such as Auto, Preset, and Manual, each offering different levels of control and customization. Whether you're working on concept art, anime, or detailed illustrations, EasyColorCorrection helps you achieve the desired visual impact by enhancing contrast, vibrancy, and overall color harmony in your images.

Color Corrector Input Parameters:

mode

The mode parameter determines the operational mode of the node, offering options such as "Auto," "Preset," and "Manual." In "Auto" mode, the node automatically adjusts colors based on the image analysis, making it ideal for quick enhancements. "Preset" mode applies predefined settings with intelligent variation, suitable for consistent results across similar images. "Manual" mode provides full control over individual parameters, allowing for precise adjustments. This parameter does not have a specific range of values but rather a set of predefined options.

effect_strength

The effect_strength parameter controls the intensity of the color correction applied to the image. It ranges from 0.0 to 1.0, where 0.0 means no effect and 1.0 applies the full strength of the selected mode's adjustments. This parameter allows you to blend the original image with the corrected version, providing flexibility in achieving the desired level of enhancement.

selective_strength

The selective_strength parameter is used to adjust the intensity of selective color corrections. It also ranges from 0.0 to 1.0, with higher values applying stronger adjustments to specific color ranges. This parameter is particularly useful when you want to emphasize or de-emphasize certain colors in the image without affecting the overall color balance.

noise

The noise parameter adds a layer of artistic noise to the image, which can be useful for creating a textured or vintage effect. The value ranges from 0.0 to 1.0, where 0.0 means no noise and 1.0 applies maximum noise. This parameter is only applicable in Manual mode and can be used to add character to the image.

sepia_tone

The sepia_tone parameter applies a sepia filter to the image, giving it a warm, antique appearance. The value ranges from 0.0 to 1.0, where 0.0 means no sepia effect and 1.0 applies a full sepia tone. This parameter is useful for creating a nostalgic or classic look in your artwork.

Color Corrector Output Parameters:

processed_image

The processed_image is the primary output of the EasyColorCorrection node. It is the image that has undergone the specified color corrections and enhancements based on the input parameters. This output is crucial as it represents the final visual result of the node's processing, ready for further use or display in your digital art projects.

Color Corrector Usage Tips:

  • Experiment with different modes to find the best fit for your project. Use "Auto" for quick adjustments, "Preset" for consistent results, and "Manual" for detailed control.
  • Adjust the effect_strength to blend the original and corrected images, allowing for subtle enhancements or dramatic changes as needed.
  • Utilize the selective_strength to target specific colors in your image, enhancing or reducing their prominence without altering the overall balance.

Color Corrector Common Errors and Solutions:

"Invalid mode selected"

  • Explanation: This error occurs when an unsupported mode is chosen for the mode parameter.
  • Solution: Ensure that the mode parameter is set to one of the supported options: "Auto," "Preset," or "Manual."

"Effect strength out of range"

  • Explanation: This error indicates that the effect_strength value is outside the acceptable range of 0.0 to 1.0.
  • Solution: Adjust the effect_strength parameter to a value within the 0.0 to 1.0 range to ensure proper blending of the image effects.
